Removing off cuts and preparing edges of bodyshell
1.
Remove the spot welds along the entire perimeter of the edge of the bodyshell, using a special cutter.
2.
Remove the metal off cuts using pliers.
3. Straighten the edges with a hammer and dolly block.
4.
Remove the weld residues using a disc grinder.
5. Make equidistant holes in the edge of the pillar reinforcement.
6. Apply the IVI Epox epoxide type primer or an electro-weldable galvanized paint or an equivalent pro-
duct, to the areas previously ground.

Preparing the spare part
1.
Make equidistant holes in the side edge.
2.
Remove the anti-corrosion treatment from the entire perimter of the inside and the outside of replace-
ment part using a disc grinder.
3. Use electro-galvanizing paint on the edges previously treated.
