BLOW-BY REMOVAL-REFITTING
Remove the air filter as described in the procedure ”AIR
FILTER REMOVAL - REFITTING”.

Unscrew the screws (3) and remove the blow-by cover (4).
Unscrew the screws (2) and remove the blow-by filter
element (1)

Dispose of consumable materials and the parts in
contact with them (for example filters) in accordance
with the law.
Refitting
NOTE Carefully clean the seating of the filter and the
cover.

Fit the new blow-by filtering element (1) into its seat and
tighten the screws (2) to the torque indicated in the table.

Step 2 15 ± 1.5 Nm
NOTE Apply Loctite 243 to the screws (2).
Position the blow-by cover (4) and tighten the screws (3) to
the torque indicated in the table.

Tighten the fastening screws following the sequence indicated
in the figure.
Refit the air filter as described in the procedure AIR FILTER
REMOVAL - REFITTING”.
