5. Installation
A loading color test pattern message will be displayed. After a while, the selected color will be projected
without any color correction on the screen.
The selected input elds of that specic color becomes white (4).
4. Measure the color coordinates for that speciccolor.
When single was selected, measure the x and y coordinate and enter in the white input eld.
When dual was selected, select the color, wait for the color wheel to be locked on the correct frequency
(72 Hz). Measure the values behind the left glass and behind the right glass. Enter the values in the
corresponding white boxes.
Note: Enter just the digits of the decimal value.
5. Repeat this procedure for the other colors and for white by starting at step 3.
6. Do you want to use the color calibration values in a macro le?
If yes, press Save to le (5).
Depending on the color path selection setting, the procedure continues as follow:
Tip: This is handy when using the same projector for normal cinema projection and for 3D cinema
projection. The color calibration can then be done via a macro le but rst, both color calibration
les must be saved.
For a single color path, press Save to le
The Save Color Gamut measurement window opens (6).
Enter a name in the Filename input eld (7) and press Save (8). (image 5-20)
For a dual color path, press Save to le (image 5-21)
Enter a MCGD name (7). Two separate les will be created, both with the same MCGD name followed
by an extension (9)
If you want to specify individual les for the left and right eye, check the check box in front of Specify
individual les (8), Than enter both le names or browse for the les (9). Click Save (10) to save both
les.
If no, continue with step 8.
7. Enter a name in the Filename input eld (7) and press Save (8).
The color values will be stored for later use.
8. To use the measured values immediately, press now Apply and Exit .
Note: It is still possible to return to the previous coordinates by clicking Cancel.

9. Set the anamorphic lens factor back to its original value.
