7. Configuring the Machine
Using the Control Panel
This chapter describes how to configure and adjust the machine's operational
settings using the control panel.
The machine can be operated using its default, but the configuration can be
changed depending on the needs of the user. Changes to settings are stored even
if the machine is turned off.
Basic Operation Using the Menu Screen
This section describes the basic procedure for specifying and changing the ma-
chine's settings.
If you want to configure the machine's system settings, press the {User Tools}
key. If you want to configure the settings of machine's current operation mode,
press any menu key.
The procedure for changing the copy quality setting is provided as an example.
A Press the {Copy} key.
B Press any menu key.
C Press the {U}{T} keys to select [Quality], and then press the {OK} key.
