6. Using the Fax Function
This chapter describes the fax functions.
The Screen in Fax Mode
This section provides information about the screen in fax mode.
By default, the display shows the copier screen when the machine is turned on.
If the copy or scanner screen is shown on the display, press the { Facsimile} key
on the control panel to switch to the fax screen.
❖ Screen in standby mode
• First line:
Shows the current status of the machine and current month and date.
• Second line:
Shows the current resolution setting and current time.
Note
❒ The machine's default mode at power on can be specified in the [Default Mode]
setting under [Admin Settings].
❒ The display format for time and date can be specified in [Date/Time Setup] un-
der [Admin Settings].
