How to Perform a Dynamic 2 Plane Procedure
Add a Trial Weight to Plane A
 Typically, you add the trial weight to plane A and perform Plane
A’s trial run – and then repeat the trial weight / run procedure for
plane B.
• From the Initial Run screen, press an Enter button. The Balancer – Trial Weight
TW A1 screen displays.

 If you wish to perform a trial run for Plane B first, press the Plane
B function button to display Plane B’s Trial Weight screen.
• Stop the machine.
• On the Microlog, enter the Trial Weight, Angle and Radius for the trial weight you
are attaching to Plane A.
 The Rotor Mass field is used if you wish to have the Microlog
estimate the trial weight. Reference the How to Estimate Trial
Weights section below for detail.
 Trial weights are typically attached at zero degrees (the trigger
reference).
 Unless you wish the Microlog to estimate a trial weight, the
Radius entry is not necessary, so long as you position the trial,
correction, and trim weights at the same radius.
• On the machine, carefully attach the precise weight at the precise angle and radius
specified. Balancing results depend greatly on the precision of your measurements
and actions.
