The Analyzer Module
Overview
Figure 4 - 1.
The Analyzer Screen.
In addition to allowing you to set up a specific “user defined” Analyzer measurement,
the Analyzer screen provides measurement icons for standard machinery vibration
measurements, allowing you to quickly perform these standard measurements. All
Analyzer measurements are pre-configured from the SKF factory with default
measurement settings that apply to most machinery monitoring needs (based upon
industry standards). You may apply these factory default settings, or alter the default
settings to those that best apply to your specific machinery monitoring needs. If you do
alter a measurement’s setup, you have the option to save your new setup so that you
can easily reapply it to future measurements.
Standard vibration measurements include:
• Acceleration
• Velocity
• gE (enveloped acceleration)
• Displacement
Measurements are also available for specific vibration monitoring applications, including:
• Bump Test
• Shaft Orbit
• Motor Current Analysis
In addition, the New measurement icon provides another way to set up a new “user
defined” measurement, and there are two additional measurement icons that allow you
to Review previously saved measurement data or saved measurement setups, or
Recall the setup screen for the last measurement that was taken (whether it was saved
or not).
