Hazardous (Classified) Location Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C,
and D
1. Suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D or non-
hazardous locations only
2. WARNING-Explosion hazard-batteries must be changed in an area
known to be non-hazardous
3. WARNING-Explosion hazard-do not connect/disconnect while circuit
is live unless area is know to be non-hazardous
4. WARNING-Explosion hazard-substitution of components may
impair suitability for Class I, Division 2
5. Unused connectors on the instrument must be covered by sealing
caps, p/n: 012-10372 or 012-10776
6. The SD card shall not be disconnected in hazardous area. It must be
installed in safe area only
7. Only accelerometers listed in table 1 may be used with the
instrument in a hazardous area

Batteries
Use BP-12 only.
The BP-12 battery can be charged out with the hazardous location using a power
supply supplied by the manufacturer and CA-38 connected to the instrument.
