Perform a Nose Run-Out Test.
To perform a nose run-out test:
• Clean all tool nose surfaces, inside and outside.
• If scratches exist on tool nose surfaces, polish with a lapping film 30µ, 12µ alt 5µ,
to erase high peaks. Afterwards clean with liquid.
• Power the Microlog on and select the Spindle module’s Nose Run-Out test.
• In Nose Run-Out test setup screens, enter the tool holder type and select the
appropriate conformance setup.
