Speed Accuracy test overview
To perform a speed accuracy test:
• Clean the shaft to facilitate best adhesion of reflective tachometer tape.
• Place the reflection tape on the shaft (preferably on the inside of the tool taper).
• Start up the spindle to programmed speed and monitor speed with tachometer.

Monitor the Speed with a Tachometer.
• Power the Microlog on and select the Spindle module’s Speed Accuracy test.
• Enter the tachometer speed value.
• Evaluate against speed acceptance standard.
