Resonant Frequency test overview
To perform a resonant frequency test:
• Install tool holder in the spindle nose.
• Run the spindle slowly to work temperature, by step-wise increase speed.
• Mount the vibration sensor on a suitable area close to the bearing.
• Mount the tachometer and aim against the spindle.
• Power the Microlog on and select the RUCD module.
