How to Perform a Data Recorder Measurement
Recording the Measurement
From Preview mode, press the Rec. function button to initiate data recording.
 The initial recording time is preset using the measurement’s Rec.
Time (s) option. When using the measurement’s default settings,
the Rec. Time (s) defaults to the maximum recording time for the
specified Save To media (either Internal or Card). However, you
may pause and save the recording at any time by using the Pause
button.

During data recording, the Recorder – Taking Data screen’s live time waveform
freezes, and the recording Time remaining counts down in the message area.
Pause - If desired, press the Pause function button to pause the recording. While
paused, the Recorder – Save Data screen converts back to Preview mode showing the
live time waveform, and the Pause button becomes a Resume button. If desired, press
Resume to resume data recording from the time it was paused.
Save – At any time (either during the recording or after the recording is paused), press
the Save function button to save the recording. The Recorder – Save Data screen
displays allowing you to save the reading.
