Viewing Multi-Channel Data
Viewing Multi-Channel Data
@ptitude Analyst provides the facility to create multi-channel POINTs. When collecting
data for these POINT types, multiple measurements are collected simultaneously and
displayed on the Spectrum Display screen. These POINT types include:
Two - channelThis POINT type requires two sensors (one on CH1 and the
second on CH2). Two - channel POINTs show a spectral display for each
channel. Note two channel “FFT and time” measurements display four
traces; CH1 FFT, CH1 time, CH2 FFT, and CH2 time.
Three - channelThis POINT type is collected with a Triax Accelerometer
Sensor, which simultaneously collects three measurements for the sensor
location (one for each axis monitored by the triax accelerometer sensor). Triax
POINTs show three spectra, one for each axis.
Although Triax POINTs are referred to as “three-channel,” data is
only collected on CH1. The measurement results, however,
display as multi-channel.
Refer to the documentation that accompanied your Triax
Accelerometer Sensor for information on mounting and using the
Triax sensor.
Data collection for these POINT types results in multiple spectral displays.
