The voltage supply is buffered for the inductive EnDat 2.2 digital encoders "EBI 1135" and "EBI 135" with multiturn function. In this case, pin 2 and pin 3 are assigned
to the backup battery U
2BAT
. Note that the encoder cable must not be connected to X4 of the drive controller but to the Absolute Encoder Support (AES) for these
encoders.
