SkyView HDX System Installation Manual - Revision E 7-1
7 SV-ADAHRS-200 ADAHRS Installation and Configuration
The SkyView SV-ADAHRS-200 ADAHRS module uses solid state sensors to accurately
measure inertia, accelerations, magnetic fields, and air pressure. To ensure accuracy in
its readings, it is very important that you install the module correctly and perform the
specified calibration steps. This section guides you through that process

Proper installation of the SV-ADAHRS-200module(s) is critical. Correct PFD
performance is significantly linked to a proper ADAHRS installation. The
installation location must meet all of the mechanical, magnetic, orientation,
placement, and environmental requirements detailed below.
7.1 Mechanical Installation
The SV-ADAHRS-200 should be located on a rigid surface within 12 feet (3.66 meters)
longitudinally and 6 feet (1.83 meters) laterally of the aircraft's center-of-gravity. Figure
38: SV-ADAHRS-200 with Respect to Center-of-Gravity illustrates this criterion.
