TIME First, configure the Top Bar to display time in SETUP MENU > LOCAL
DISPLAY SETUP > TOP BAR SETUP > TIME: ZULU | LOCAL. Then, in this
menu, adjust your preferred offset from the time currently displayed on the Top
Bar.
ARINC-429 Enter this page to set up ARINC-429 devices connected to SV-
ARINC-429 modules.
SCREEN LAYOUT SETUP Enter this page to configure the availability of the
PDF Page, Engine Page, and Map Page on this display and throughout the
system (when more than one (1) display is installed).
PRIMARY COM Select the COM radio to be displayed on the Top Bar and
receive a frequency setting when the APT→COM button is pushed in the MAP
MENU. If only one (1) COM radio is installed, this must be set. If two (2) COM
radios are installed, only one (1) can be displayed on the Top Bar and receive
a frequency setting when the APT→COM button is pushed in the MAP MENU.
DISPLAY COM IN TOP BAR Selects whether, or not, frequencies, PTT
status, etc. from the COM radio (selected in PRIMARY COM, above) is
displayed.
DATA LOG SETUP Enter this page to configure the recording frequency of
SkyView’s internal data logging feature, or to clear recorded data. See the User
Data Logs Appendix for further information about user data logs.
21.6.5 LOCAL DISPLAY SETUP Menu
This menu contains menus and pages related to the individual SkyView display on which
this menu is displayed. These settings can be different on one display from another
display.
INSTALLED DATABASES Shows the various databases that are installed on
this display and their respective versions.
DISPLAY HARDWARE INFORMATION Shows important hardware status
information, such as the “Edition” of your SkyView display he serial number of
your display, and the voltage of the attached SV-BAT-320. Reference the
Returning SkyView Components to Service after Repair Section of this manual
for more information about the Display Hardware Information Page.
BRIGHTNESS SETUP Choose between manual, automatic, or external
screen backlight control. Manual screen backlight control is managed by the
user in the DIM Menu with the DEC-, INC+, and FULL buttons. Automatic
screen backlight control is managed by a default dimming profile in the display.
A compatible external control signal is required for external backlight control.
Refer to the Brightness Setup Section for more information.
TOP BAR SETUP Configures the top bar on the SkyView display's screen.
