further assistance. Please have the S/N of the SV-BAT-320 (printed on the SV-BAT-320
product label) available when you contact Technical Support. See also SV-BAT-320
Backup Battery Installation, Returning an SV-BAT-320 to Dynon Avionics for Exchange
(Warranty Replacement) for additional information.
If a SV-BAT-320 does not pass an annual test, and is no longer within warranty, dispose
of the used SV-BAT-320 (see below) and purchase a new SV-BAT-320 from Dynon
Avionics or a Dynon Avionics dealer. An SV-BAT-320 cannot be repaired or rebuilt.
Please dispose of a nonfunctional SV-BAT-320 in a responsible manner.
The SV-BAT-320 is a Lithium-Ion battery, similar in construction to cordless
tool or laptop computer batteries and thus can be disposed of (recycled)
wherever cordless tool or laptop computer battery recycling is available. For
a list of recycling locations in the USA, call 1-800-8-BATTERY or see the Call
2 Recycle website at http://www.rbrc.org.
23.10 Troubleshooting
The Display Hardware Information Page (SETUP MENU > LOCAL DISPLAY SETUP >
DISPLAY HARDWARE INFORMATION) can be a valuable resource when
troubleshooting SkyView and is described in the previous section.
If the suggestions below do not help, or your issue is not listed below, please
contact Dynon Avionics Technical Support (contact information at the
beginning of this manual).
23.10.1 Network Configuration or SkyView Network Module Does Not Work
Properly
If you try to configure a SkyView network and it does not work, try the following:
Check network wiring and try again. There may be a short or an open
somewhere.
Unplug network modules one (1) by one (1) and try again. It is possible that
one (1) of the modules could cause the network to stop functioning.
Try again.
For modules such as the SV-ADAHRS-200, the SV-EMS-220, and SV-ARINC-
429, observe the red LED light near the SkyView Network connector:
o Flashing Fast: The module is operating normally and is configured and
communicating on a SkyView Network.
o Flashing Slowly: The module is operating normally, but is not active on
SkyView Network.
o Off: The module is not receiving power (from a SkyView Network / Display)
o On Solid - the module is receiving power, but is not operating normally.
