20 EFIS-D10A Standby Display Installation and
Configuration
20.1 Installation Checklist
To install a Dynon EFIS-D10A in an aircraft, the following steps must be completed:
1. Connect to properly current protected source of switched aircraft power using
purchased or created wire harness
2. Install backup battery
3. Connect pitot and static ports to aircraft system
4. Install optional mounting tray/flush mount bracket
5. Install Dynon EFIS-D10A in panel
For the STC installation the D10A is only connected to power. See D10A electrical wiring
section.

20.3 Weight Specifications
Adding any new instrument to an aircraft requires the installer to be aware of its weight
and how that affects the overall weight and balance of the plane. The following are
the weights of the EFIS-D10A and associated Dynon-supplied sensors.
