Remote Control - Settings
With the VNC server running (indicated in the main window) it is possible to access
the VNC server with a VNC client run
ning on an external device like a desktop PC,
a notebook or a tablet computer. In order to establish a connection between a VNC
client and the VNC server of the JET3up printer the following settings are required:
The VNC server on the JET3up printer must be started
The IP address of the JET3up printer has to be adjusted to the network the
VNC client is running on.
For a successful connection the password set for the VNC server of the JET3up
printer is required.
Proceeding:
1. Set the IP adress and subnet mask of the JET3up printer. All other settings
in the IP Adress dialogbox are not relevant for the setup of VNC connection
The settings depend on the network
into which the printer has to be
implemeted.
2. Connect a WiFi router to the JET3up. Ther
e is ethernet cable for the M12D
coded socket of the JET3up required.
3. Please see the manual of the router for details about the settings
example the router is set to the following IP-Adress: 192.168.1.1.
server of the JET3up printer uses port 5900.
4. Connect the external device on which the VNC client software is installed
either by cable or WiFI to the router.

Start the VNC client on the external device and enter the required settings.
The required settings depend on the VNC client used. Ple
ase the the VNC
client’s manual for details. With the correct settings a connection to the
JET3up printer can be established. The display of the JET3up will be
mirrored on the VNC client software and the printer can be operated
the external device.

t is possible to add more than one WIFI device like e.g. laptops,
Android/Apple tablets /phones to the WIFI net of the router in order to
access the JET3up printer. Make sure that there is a VNC client like
VNC, Ultra VNC (Windows OS) or screens VNC (
device. For Android devices you can use bVNC or Real VNC.

You can als make a cable connection to the router. The number of cable
connections depends on the type of router used. Cable connections may be
used e.g. to connect a desktop PC.
In that case you have to make sure that
the LAN adapter of the PC is set to the correct address space!
