Example
The following example configures the device as a virtual terminal for remote
console access.
Console(config)# line telnet
Console(config-line)#
speed
The speed Line Configuration mode command sets the line baud rate. Use the no
form of this command to restore the default configuration.
Syntax
speed bps
no speed
Parameters
•
bps — Baud rate in bits per second (bps). Possible values are 2400, 4800,
9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 and 115200.
Default Configuration
The default speed is 9600 bps.
Command Mode
Line Configuration (console) mode
User Guidelines
This command is available only on the line console.
This configuration applies only to the current session.
