User Guidelines
Use this command to isolate unicast, multicast, and broadcast traffic at Layer 2
from other protected ports on the same switch.
NOTE The packet is still subject to the FDB decision and to all filtering rules.
switchport protected-port fastethernet
Use the switchport protected-port fastethernet global configuration command set
the FE ports as protected ports. Use the no form of this command to set the FE
ports as unprotected ports.
NOTE This command is supported in SPS2xx devices.
Syntax
switchport protected-port fastethernet
no switchport protected-port fastethernet
Parameters
This command has no arguments or keywords.
