Port Monitor Commands
port monitor
The port monitor Interface Configuration mode command starts a port monitoring
session. Use the no form of this command to stop a port monitoring session.
Syntax
port monitor src-interface [rx | tx]
no port monitor
src-interface
Parameters
•
src-interface — Valid Ethernet port.
• rx — Monitors received packets only.
• tx — Monitors transmitted packets only.
Default Configuration
Monitors both received and transmitted packets.
