enable syslog
Purpose To enable the system log to be sent to a remote host.
Syntax
enable syslog
Description
The enable syslog command enables the system log to be sent to a
remote host.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable the syslog function on the Switch:
DES-1210-28/ME:5# enable syslog
Command: enable syslog
Success!

disable syslog
Purpose To disable the system log from being sent to a remote host.
Syntax
disable syslog
Description
The disable syslog command disables the system log from being
sent to a remote host.
