MAC NOTIFICATION COMMANDS
The IGMP Snooping commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the
appropriate parameters) in the following table.

Purpose Used to enable global MAC address table notification on the Switch.
Syntax
enable mac_notification
Description
The enable mac_notification command is used to enable MAC
address notification without changing configuration.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command
Example usage:
To enable MAC notification without changing basic configuration:
DES-1210-28/ME:5# enable mac_notification
Command: enable mac_notification
Success.
