show sntp
Purpose To display the SNTP information.
Syntax
show sntp
Description
The show sntp command displays SNTP settings information,
including the source IP address, time source and poll interval.
Parameters None.
Restrictions None.
Example usage:
To display SNTP configuration information:
DES-1210-28/ME:5# show sntp
Command: show sntp
SNTP Information
------------------------------------------
Current Time Source : Local
SNTP : Disabled
SNTP Primary Server : 10.1.1.1
SNTP Secondary Server : 10.1.1.2

enable sntp
Purpose To enable SNTP server support.
Syntax
enable sntp
Description
The enable sntp command enables SNTP server support. SNTP
service must be separately configured (see config sntp). Enabling
and configuring SNTP support override any manually configured
system time settings.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator and Operator-level users can issue this
command. SNTP settings must be configured for SNTP to function
(config sntp).
