config max_mcast_group ports
Purpose Used to configure the maximum number of multicast groups that a
port can join.
Syntax
config max_mcast_group ports <portlist> max_group <integer
1-256>
Description
The show limited_multicast_addr command is used to configure
the maximum number of multicast groups that a port can join.
Parameters
<portlist> – A range of ports to configure the maximum multicast
group.
max_group <integer 1-256> – Specifies the maximum number of
multicast groups. The range is from 1 to 256.
Restrictions Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure the maximum multicast address groups on ports 1 and 3 as 100:
DES-1210-28/ME:5# config max_mcast_group ports 1,3 max_group 100
Command: config max_mcast_group ports 1,3 max_group 100
Success!

Purpose To display maximum multicast group ports on the Switch.
Syntax
show max_mcast_group ports <portlist>
Description
The show max_mcast_group ports command displays the
multicast filtering profiles settings.
Parameters

Restrictions None.
