To configure a static ARP entry, whose IP address is 10.48.74.121, set its MAC address to 00-50-
BA-00-07-37:

config arp_aging time 7-4
Description
This command is used to set the maximum amount of time, in minutes, that a dynamic ARP entry
can remain in the Switch’s ARP table, without being accessed, before it is dropped from the table.
Format
config arp_aging time <value 0-65535>
Parameters
<value 0-65535> - Enter the ARP age-out time, in minutes. This value must be between 0 and
65535 minutes.The default value is 20.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
To configure ARP aging time to 30 minutes:
DGS-3000-26TC:admin#config arp_aging time 30
Command: config arp_aging time 30
Success.
DGS-3000-26TC:admin#
clear arptable 7-5
Description
This command is used to clear all the dynamic entries from ARP table.
Format
clear arptable
