enable dhcp_server 21-1
Description
This command is used to enable the DHCP server to distribute IP addresses, subnet masks,
gateway addresses, and DNS server addresses to your network.
Note: The DHCP server, DHCP client, DHCP relay and the DHCP local relay features are mutually
exclusive. This means that if one of these features are enabled on an interface, the other
three features mentioned cannot be enabled on that interface.
Format
enable dhcp_server
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
To enable DHCP server:
DGS-3000-26TC:admin#enable dhcp_server
Command: enable dhcp_server
Success.
enable dhcp class 21-2
Description
This command is used to enable DHCP class function on the Switch.
Format
enable dhcp class
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
