Description
This command is used to configure the traffic scheduling mechanism for each CoS queue.
Format
config scheduling_mechanism {ports [<portlist> | all]} [strict | wrr | wdrr]
Parameters
ports - (Optional) Specify a range of ports to be configured.
<portlist> - Enter the list of port used for this configuration here.
all - Specify to set all ports in the system. If no port is specified, system will set all ports.
strict - The highest class of service is the first to process traffic. That is, the highest class of
service will finish before other queues empty.
wrr - Use the weighted round-robin algorithm to handle packets in an even distribution in priority
classes of service.
wdrr - Use the weighted deficit round-robin algorithm to handle packets in an even distribution in
priority classes of service.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
To configure the traffic scheduling mechanism for each CoS queue:
DGS-3000-26TC:admin#config scheduling_mechanism strict
Command: config scheduling_mechanism strict
Success.
