SkyView System Installation Guide - Revision AA 5-1
5. SV-ADAHRS-200/201 Installation and Configuration
Information in this section, and other parts of this manual, that apply equally to either the SV-
ADAHRS-200 or the SV-ADAHRS-201, or both units together, the phrase “SV-ADAHRS-200/201
is used. When there is specific information for one unit only, that unit’s name is used. In
operation, the SV-ADAHRS-200 and SV-ADAHRS-201 are identical in functionality. The SV-
ADAHRS-200/201 also incorporates an internal magnetic sensor (magnetometer). In this
section, the more familiar term “compass” is often substituted for references to the magnetic
sensor / magnetometer.
The SkyView SV-ADAHRS-200 (Figure 39) and SV-ADAHRS-201 (Figure 38) ADAHRS modules use
MEMS sensor technology to accurately measure inertial, magnetic, and air data. To ensure
accuracy in its readings, it is very important that you install the module correctly and perform
the specified calibration steps. This section guides you through that process.
The SV-ADAHRS-200 is a “primary” ADAHRS module; the SV-ADAHRS-201 is the backup /
redundant ADAHRS module. To enable the SkyView Primary Flight Display (PFD), there must be
at least one SV-ADAHRS-200 in the SkyView system. Figure 38 below is a high-level overview of
a suggested and installation and configuration procedure for the SV-ADAHRS-200/201:
