AP Servo Installation, Configuration, and Calibration

1. Go to the Enable Broken Line Detect Adjust Page (SETUP MENU > AUTOPILOT SETUP >
DISENGAGE BUTTON > ENABLE BROKEN LINE DETECT).
2. Set to YES or NO.
3. Press ACCEPT to save or press CANCEL to return to the Disengage Button Menu.
Control Wheel Steering Mode
Control Wheel Steering may be set to YES or NO. Setting HOLD TO ENGAGE to YES allows you to
take temporary manually control of the aircraft to redirect its targets while pressing and
holding the Disengage/CWS Button when the autopilot is engaged. See the SkyView Pilot’s User
Guide for details on Control Wheel Steering behavior. To set the control wheel steering mode:
1. Go to the Control Wheel Steering Mode Adjust Page (SETUP MENU > AUTOPILOT SETUP
> DISENGAGE BUTTON > CONTROL WHEEL STEERING MODE).
2. Set to YES or NO.
3. Press ACCEPT to save or press CANCEL to return to the Disengage Button Menu.

This completes the on-ground portion of Autopilot setup.

Continued Airworthiness and Maintenance
Dynon Avionics servos (SV32, SV42, and SV52) do not require lubrication. Do not
lubricate the servo unit with grease or oil.
Inspect the servo for continued stable installation check for loose bolts, etc.
Inspect the servo and linkages for excessive mechanical wear from Autopilot operation.
Inspect the servo wiring in the vicinity of any moving parts to ensure the wiring’s
insulation has not abraded from Autopilot / servo operation or vibration.
