Advanced Flight Systems (AFS) ADVANCED Control Module (ACM)
SkyView SE does not integrate with any IFR navigation sources, and excludes
features and components commonly used in an aircraft equipped for IFR flight. If
you intend to use SkyView SE incorporated into an ADVANCED Quick Panel System,
confirm (with Advanced Flight Systems) that your choice of (optional) navigation
units is compatible with SkyView SE.
The ADVANCED Control Module (ACM) is only sold as part of a pre-integrated ADVANCED Quick
Panel System sold by Advanced Flight Systems (AFS). If you have purchased a Quick Panel
System, all wiring will be preinstalled and all necessary settings will be preconfigured. Support
for the ACM was added as of SkyView Software v13.0.
Because this manual is often used as part of preplanning an avionics system, note that the ACM
requires the following connections:
Serial Port 1 is used to communicate with the ACM.
Serial Port 2 TX is used to communicate with the ELT.
Serial Port 3 is used for the SV-XPNDR-261/262 transponder.,
Serial Port 4 is used for the SV-ADSB-470 ADS-B IN receiver
Serial Port 5 is used for the SV-GPS-250/2020 GPS receiver,
SkyView Network (in addition to the serial port)
