SV-ADAHRS-200/201 Installation and Configuration
5-4 SkyView System Installation Guide - Revision AA
Dynon Avionics offers the Dual ADAHRS Mounting Kit (P/N
102532-000) – see Figure 45. This kit allows the convenient
“stacking” of an SV-ADAHRS-201 onto an SV-ADAHRS-200
for easier installation. This kit allows the dual ADAHRS
units to be aligned exactly together in the pitch and roll
axis, so there is no possibility that alignment of the two
ADAHRS units can be different. This kit is particularly useful
when retrofitting an SV-ADAHRS-201 for redundancy into a
SkyView system that previously only had an SV-ADAHRS-
200 installed.
Dynon Avionics offers the SV-NET-SPL “Splitter”
Cable – see Figure 46. This cable allows a single (more
economical, lower weight) SkyView Network Cable to
be run to the location of an SV-ADAHRS-200 and SV-
ADAHRS-201 installation and then “split” the SkyView
Network signals to the SV-ADAHRS-200 and SV-
ADAHRS-201. The SV-NET-SPL is an ideal companion
accessory to the Dual ADAHRS Mounting Kit.
Dynon Avionics offers the SV-MAG-236 Remote
Magnetometer – see Figure 47. The SV-MAG-236 can
be used when an (otherwise) good location for an SV-
ADAHRS-200/201 is problematic because of magnetic
interference, such as inside the fuselage of a steel tube
airframe. In such situations, the SV-MAG-236 can be
located in a wingtip, free of magnetic interference. Even
if you have both an SV-ADAHRS-200 and an SV-ADAHRS-
201 installed, only one SV-MAG-236 is required.
Physical Installation
SV-ADAHRS-200/201 Location Requirements
An SV-ADAHRS-200/201 installation location should be a rigid surface within 12 feet (3.66
meters) longitudinally and 6 feet (1.83 meters) laterally of the aircraft's center-of-gravity. Figure
46 – SV-ADAHRS-200/201 with Respect to Center-of-Gravity illustrates this criterion.
