SV-ADAHRS-200/201 Installation and Configuration
5-12 SkyView System Installation Guide - Revision AA
SkyView Network Connection
Connect the SV-ADAHRS-200/201 to the SkyView network using the hardware mentioned in the
SkyView System Construction Section or using equivalent hardware.
If you have to install a connector on the end of a network cable, insert all pins into the D9
connector. Refer to Appendix C: Wiring and Electrical Connections for details on connector
pinouts and wire colors.
Remember to configure the network as described in the Network Setup and Status
section after connecting all modules to a display.
Pneumatic Ports
The AOA, pitot, and static ports on the SV-ADAHRS-200/201 are equipped with 1/8” NPT
Female fittings. If you are not using the Dynon Avionics Pitot/Static/AOA Pneumatic Installation
Kit (P/N 102628-000) (which includes the required parts) to connect your pitot and static lines
to the SV-ADAHRS-200/201, you must use standard 1/8” NPT male fittings at the end of each of
the pneumatic lines.
SkyView’s attitude calculation requires airspeed from pitot and static. A GPS
source can be used as a backup if the pitot and/or static source fails, but should
not be the primary source.
If you do not have a SV-MAG-236 Remote Magnetometer installed, do not use
ferrous pneumatic fittings to connect to the SV-ADAHRS-200/201. Such fitters
would cause magnetic interference to the internal magnetometer in the SV-
ADAHRS-200/201).
If you do not install a Dynon Avionics AOA/Pitot Probe, and thus will not be using
the Angle of Attack (AOA) port on the SV-ADAHRS-200/201, it is acceptable to
leave the red plastic plug that the unit was shipped with in place. It is not
necessary to seal this port against atmospheric pressure (a non-vented plug) nor
adding sealant or tape to the threads of the red plastic plug. Note that there is a
small hole in the red plastic plug that allows the port to be vented to atmosphere
to allow for internal diagnostics of the AOA port.
Instructions for installing the Dynon Avionics Pitot/Static/AOA Pneumatic Installation Kit are
found in the Accessory Installation and Configuration section,
