SV-AP-PANEL Installation
SkyView System Installation Guide - Revision AA 18-9
Autopilot Auto-trim
SkyView can provide automatic trim control (AP Auto-trim) if your plane’s electric trim motor(s)
are operated through the SV-AP-PANEL’s trim controller (trim control pushbuttons on the stick,
and the electric trim motors, are connected to the SV-AP-PANEL). The SV-AP-PANEL can provide
AP Auto-trim whether the SkyView AP is configured to EXPERT AP mode, or SIMPLIFIED AP
mode.
Auto-trim control of PITCH TRIM is only active when the SkyView AP’s PITCH axis is engaged.
Auto-trim control of ROLL TRIM is only active when the SkyView AP’s ROLL axis is engaged.
After MOTOR 1 and/or MOTOR 2 calibration is completed through the AUTO-TRIM FUNCTION
menus described above, Autopilot Auto-trim is enabled on those axes.
If you want to disable Autopilot Auto-trim, push buttons 7+8 to enter the SETUP MENU, then
AUTOPILOT SETUP > ROLL AXIS > AUTO-TRIM ENABLED set to NO
AUTOPILOT SETUP > PITCH AXIS > AUTO-TRIM ENABLED set to NO
