If you do not own a DSUB machined-pin crimping tool, they can be obtained from many
electronics or avionics dealers. You may also find it helpful to own a pin insertion/extraction
tool as well.

The SV-ARINC-429 has a single D25F connector which is used for all data connections to your
compatible ARINC-429 device. The pin out depicted in Figure 149 below depicts the view from
the rear of your D25M connector – the view you will have of your harness connector as you are
inserting pins into the harness. Note that the pin numbers are labelled on the face of both the
female and male connector.
