Install Data Communication Network Cabling
Prerequisite:
■ The appropriate SFP modules must be installed in the LCN ports being cabled.
Step 1
Connect the ber-opc cable from the DCN cloud to the LCN1 port on the Main L100 Blade.
Step 2
Connect a ber-opc cable from the LCN3 port on the Main L100 Blade to the LCN4 port on the rst tributary
blade.
Step 3
Is another tributary blade to be installed?
If YES:
Connue with next step.
If NO:
Proceed to Step 6.
Step 4
Connect a ber-opc cable from the LCN3 port on the current tributary blade to the LCN4 port on the next
tributary blade.
Step 5
Return to Step 3.
Step 6
Connect a ber-opc cable from the LCN3 port on the last tributary blade to the LCN4 port on the Main blade.
