Back Up Conguration Database
Prerequisites:
■Clear all alarms and standing condions being reported on the blade.
■The user must be logged on as fujitsu/1nity or have Level-4 or Level-5 privileges assigned to perform this
procedure.
Step 1
Copy the running database to a user-provided le in a given path.
Command:
> request db-backup filename /var/ftp/1FINITY-071716.dbs
Output:
status database Backup Complete to /var/ftp/1FINITY-071716.dbs

Aenon: Database backup captures a snapshot of node provisioning database les (.DBS les) for
future restoraon in the event that database les in the node become corrupt. The .DBS les represent
node provisioning at the me of backup, which may or may not match the current node provisioning.
Step 2
Transfer database from the /var/ftp directory of the blade to a user-provided remote le server.
Command:
> request transfer ftp action upload local-file-path /var/ftp/1FINITY-071716.dbs
remote-file-path ftp://anonymous:anonymous@192.168.1.2/1FINITY-071716.dbs
✓ This task is complete.
