port.
Aenon: This alarm is reported as it
approaches the point to trigger Automac
Power Reducon (APR). Although the
alarmed condion is NSA, the required
trouble-clearing acons to clear the alarm
can disrupt trac.
1. Check the transmit output ber.
2. Clean the connectors.
3. Replace the ber.
4. Replace the patch cord.
5. Replace the PIU.

Probable Cause Suggested Correcve Acon
The blade provisioning mode is incorrect.
This alarm is caused by the blade being set
at the factory defaults or by the user
sending an incorrect shelf provisioning
command.
1. If the blade is set to factory defaults in a new turn-up,
iniate a WARM reset to make this blade the Main
blade.
2. For a tributary blade in a new turn-up, change the
shelf type to TRIB.
