CLI Conguration Mode
To change CLI Session from operaonal mode to conguraon mode, enter the congure command.
Command:
> configure
When the CLI session is in the conguraon mode, the command prompt terminates with the "%" character.
Command Example:
fujitsu@fujitsu%
In conguraon mode, all changes to the device conguraon are inially done to a copy of the acve
conguraon called the candidate conguraon. These changes do not take eect unl a successful commit or
commit conrm command is entered. Commit acvates the candidate conguraon on the device. Candidate
conguraons enable the user to alter the conguraon without causing potenal damage to the current
network operaons.
