1.8.6
Pluggable Transceiver Modules
The SFP modules provide the following features:
■Flexible, recongurable opcal or data interfaces
■Opcal-to-electrical and electrical-to-opcal signal conversion
■Incoming opcal signal monitoring and alarm reporng
For more detailed SFP modules informaon, refer to 1FINITY Pluggable Transceiver Modules Reference Guide,

Power Specications
The L100 Blades operate at –48 V DC with a maximum current draw of 5 A. The UL fuse/breaker
recommendaon for the L100 Blades is 10 A.
The typical current draw is under 5 A across the input voltage range of the L100 Blades.
The following table describes the power cabling for the L100 Blades.
Table 9
Power Specicaons
Connector Wire Gauge Wire Color
Main A (–48 V DC) 14 to 12 AWG Red
GA (Return A) 14 to 12 AWG Black
Main B (–48 V DC) 14 to 12 AWG Red/white
GB (Return B) 14 to 12 AWG Black/white
FG (Frame Ground) 12 AWG Green/yellow

1FINITY Housing
The 1FINITY Housing can power and support up to six (6) 1FINITY Blades. The power terminals on the Housing
supplies redundant A and B –48 V DC power input feeds to each Blade.
