User Guide CLI Command Prompt Convention
In this user guide, CLI commands are typically illustrated using only a single-character, either (>) or (%) for the
command prompt. The single-character prompt indicates the applicable CLI command mode:
■ (>) indicates that the command is entered in operaonal mode
■ (%) indicates that the command is entered in conguraon mode
The single-character prompt should be interpreted as an abbreviated representaon of the full CLI command
prompt, which includes fujitsu@fujitsu preceding the single character.
The following example shows a CLI command entered in conguraon mode.
Command:
% show system services telnet
If a user has the username fred and is logged onto a system with hostname AcmeNet-T100-31, the screen
displays:
Command Example:
fred@AcmeNet-T100-31% show system services telnet
