Provision L100 Blade for FLASHWAVE 9500 Interoperability
If the user is using the FLASHWAVE 9500 MH interoperability (ope-mode-mh-interop) mode, the user needs to
use the SONET OSC (F-SC-E1) port.
Step 1
Acvate the FLASHWAVE 9500 INTEROP ILF.
Command:
% set licenses COMPAT_9500 license-key <key string>
Step 2
Insert the OC3-rate SFP in the F-SC-E1 SFP slot.
Step 3
Provision the F-SC-E1 port equipment.
Command:
% set eqpt shelf 1 slot 0 subslot 0 port F-SC-E1 pluggableInterfaceType 155M admin-
status up
Step 4
Provision the F-SC-E1 port interface.
Note: If autoprovisioning is enabled, the F-SC-E1 port is automacally provisioned.
Command:
% set interfaces interface fsc-1/0/0/F-SC-E1 type sonet enabled oc rate OC3 admin-
status up
Step 5
Provision OTS interface for FLASHWAVE 9500 interoperability mode.
Command:
% set interfaces interface ots-1/0/0/E1 type opticalTransport ots degree-number 1
operation-mode ope-mode-mh-interop admin-status up
Step Result:
Blade reboots.
Note: If a user is using the Base (ope-mode-base) or Full-Spec (ope-mode-full-spec) mode, the user needs to
use the Ethernet OSC (E-SC-E1) port.
Step 6
Provision the OMS and postoutadj value for the L100 Blade.
Command:
% set interfaces interface ots-1/0/0/E1 ots oms admin-status up postoutadj <value>
