Log On NE Through LMP
Prerequisite:
■ The NE is installed and powered up. Wait 10 minutes aer powered up to log on the system.
Note: If this NE has mulple blades, log on through the Main blade LMP.
Step 1
Using a LAN cable, connect the PC to the blade connector labeled LMP. The IP address of the LMP is
192.168.1.1 /30. The PC must have an IP address of 192.168.1.2 /30.
Step 2
From the PC, open an SSH client session to the NE using the LMP IP address (192.168.1.1).
Step 3
Using an SSH client to connect, log on using factory default user credenals.
Note: Some SSH clients (for example, TeraTerm) provide an opon to the user to choose an authencaon
method. In such a scenario, select the Use keyboard-interacve to log in opon buon and click OK.
