Enable Flexible Grid
Step 1
If required, acvate the exible grid capability ILF.
Note: The key can be regular or golden.
Command:
% set licenses license FLEXGRID license-key <key string>
Step 2
Set the WDM conguraon.
Command:
% set wdmcfg grid-type flex
Step 3
For equipment port conguraon, the number of lanes should be 128. Provision the E1 port on the L100 Main
blade.
Command:
% set eqpt shelf 1 slot 0 cardType BDL1-3R11 subslot 0 port E1 admin-status up
pluggableInterfaceType Edge num-lanes 128
Note: This command needs to be performed on the L100 tributary shelves as well.
Step 4
Provision OTS, OMS, and OCH interfaces. Refer to Provision L100 Main Blade OTS/OMS/OCH Interfaces.
