Set 100 Mb/s OSC Power Pad
The OSC power pad value (FC9581B62F) is calculated during network design and planning process. Pad value is 5,
10, or 15 dB. The default value is 0.0 dB.
Contact Fujitsu Technical Assistance Center for assistance on the OSC power pad value.
Important: Fujitsu does not recommend using third-party OSC SFP module because the power of
third-party OSC module is not guaranteed.
Step 1
Place the blade in CLI conguraon mode.
Command:
> configure
Step 2
Set the OSC power pad value on the L100 Main blade.
Command:
% set interfaces interface ots-1/0/0/E1 type opticalTransport ots operation-mode
ope-mode-full-spec degree-number 1 fiber-type nz-dsf osc-attenuation 10 admin-
status up
Note: The value must be set with an incremental value of 0.1 within the 0.0…15.0 range. For example, the
values being set must be 0.1, 0.2, 0.3…1.0, 1.1, 1.2…14.9, 15.0.
Note: An LC/UPC aenuator with the same value must be aached to the corresponding OSC (R) port.
