The L100 Blades provide a low-cost direct access (Colorless (C), Colorless/Direconless (CD), mix conguraon
ROADM. Up to four degrees of C/CD ROADM are supported with up to 128 add/drop 100 Gb/s or higher
(including 150 and 200 Gb/s) channels.
The L100 Series consists of two types of blades:
■ L100 (BDL1-3R11) 1x9 WSS ROADM on a Blade (ROB)
■ L110 (BDL1-3B11) Opcal Mux Base blade
These blades can be mounted in any of the following conguraons:
■ 19-inch, 2-post rack
■ 23-inch, 2-post rack
■ 19-inch, 4-post rack
■ 23-inch, 4-post rack
■ Six-slot Housing
Blades installed in a rack are referred to as the disaggregated opon. Blades installed in a six-slot Housing are
referred to as the aggregated opon.
