Set Up Main Blade (Initial)
Warning: Aer the blade is powered up, power down within 15 minutes causes database corrupon,
which leads to blade start-up failure and requires a return to factory for reprogramming.
Step 1
Apply power to the Main blade.
Step 2
Log on the blade using the LMP as described in Log On.
Step 3
Retrieve the alarms.
Command:
> show alarms alarm-list
Step 4
Check if the shelfProvisioningMode alarm is present.
If YES:
Connue with next step.
If NO:
This procedure is complete.
Step 5
Execute the Main blade setup.
Command:
> request set-shelfmode shelfid <shelf-id˃ shelfrole <shelf-role˃
