8.5 Replacing the LC heat sinks
8.5.1 Preliminary steps
Before replacing the CPU heat sink, perform the following steps:
Ê "Disabling the boot watchdog functionality of ServerView Operations
Manager" on page 73
Ê "Shutting down the server node" on page 50
Ê If applicable, remove all external cables from the server node.
Ê "Removing the server node from the server enclosure" on page 51
8.5.2 Removing the LC heat sinks
Ê Remove the LC heat sink, see section "Removing the LC heat sinks" on
page 224.
Ê Remove the CPU frame from the CPU heat sink, see section "Removing the
CPU type 1" on page 231.
