Ê Remove the screw (see circle) and unplug the M.2 SSD (1).
9.2.2.3 Concluding steps
Perform the following procedures:
Ê Install the left riser module, see section "Installing the riser module" on
page 55.
Ê "Installing the server node in the server enclosure" on page 67
Ê If applicable, reconnect all external cables.
Ê "Controls and indicators on the server node" on page 448
Ê "Enabling SVOM boot watchdog functionality" on page 88
9.2.2.4 Software configuration
In order to install the ESXi to the M.2 SSD, the VMware ESXi installer CD is
required.To obtain the ESXi installer CD by purchasing the OEM Media Kit, or
downloading the ESXi Custom Image ISO file from VMware's website and burn
the image to the CD.

To Install the ESXi to the M.2 SSD by following the steps below:
Ê Disconnect all storage devices from the server beside the M.2 SSD.
